The annual report presents findings on the key operational characteristics of substance use and mental health treatment facilities, use of pharmacotherapies, language assistance services, and suicide prevention assistance services.

This report provides an update on a series of topics focusing on substance use and mental health (collectively referred to as behavioral health) in the United States. SAMHSA selected specific topics and indicators in this report to represent a cross-section of the key behavioral health indicators that are assessed in SAMHSA data collections, including NSDUH. This report is intended to provide a concise, reader-friendly summary of key behavioral health measures for lay and professional audiences.
This report provides updated estimates of mental health and substance use disorder spending by payment source and provider, setting, payer and specialty type. The report highlights spending on behavioral health by private insurers, Medicaid and Medicare as well as other payers.
This report compares findings on behavioral health treatment from 1986 to 2014. It reviews spending trends in treatment and use.
